Job Title: L2 Network Engineer

Location: Navi Mumbai Airport

Experience Level: Mid-Level (L2 Support)

Salary Range: 6.5-7L per Annum ( Depend upon current Salary)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled L2 Network Engineer to support and manage large-scale network infrastructures, including Cisco ACI, OSPF, BGP, VRF, Nexus switches, VPC, and Data Center networking. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with enterprise and data center networks, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, deep networking knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment supporting mission-critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide L2 support for large-scale enterprise and data center networks.

2. Troubleshoot and resolve complex networking issues related to Cisco ACI, OSPF, BGP, VRF, Nexus switches, and VPC.

3. Configure and manage Cisco Nexus (5K, 7K, 9K) switches and Virtual Port Channels (VPC).

4. Support and maintain Cisco ACI fabric, including troubleshooting application policies and tenant configurations.

5. Manage and optimize OSPF and BGP routing across multi-site environments.

6. Work with VRF (Virtual Routing and Forwarding) instances for network segmentation and security.

7. Monitor network performance, analyze traffic patterns, and proactively address bottlenecks.

8. Assist in implementing and maintaining data center network designs, automation, and security policies.

9. Collaborate with L3 engineers, architects, and cross-functional teams for issue resolution and project deployments.

10. Document network configurations, incidents, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

2. 3–6 years of experience in networking, with hands-on exposure to large-scale enterprise or data center environments.

3. Strong knowledge of Cisco ACI, OSPF, BGP, VRF, Nexus switches (5K, 7K, 9K), and VPC.

4. Hands-on experience with Layer 2 & Layer 3 networking, VLANs, STP, and multicast.

5. Familiarity with network automation tools (Ansible, Python) and monitoring platforms.

6. Experience in troubleshooting packet flow, latency, and connectivity issues in large networks.

7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

8. Strong documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Certifications (Optional but Advantageous):

• CCNP (Enterprise/Data Center)

• Cisco ACI Specialist Certification

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per year
