L3 Network Security Engineer – Check Point Access, Firewall, MDS

Location: London Heathrow Waterside / Offshore (Chennai, Delhi, Pune)

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide L3-level support for Check Point security solutions, including Access Control, Firewalls, and Multi-Domain Security (MDS).
• Design, implement, and maintain Check Point Firewall security policies, VPNs, and threat prevention measures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network security incidents, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Manage and optimize Check Point Multi-Domain Security (MDS) environments, including policy management across multiple security domains.
• Conduct rulebase optimization, policy tuning, and performance analysis for firewalls.
• Implement and maintain Identity Awareness, Threat Emulation, and Application Control features in Check Point.
• Perform firmware upgrades, patches, and health checks for firewalls and security appliances.
• Work closely with network, security, and infrastructure teams to align security policies with business needs.
• Document network security configurations, troubleshooting steps, and best practices.
• Participate in incident response and forensic investigations related to security breaches.

Technical Skills:

• Check Point Firewalls: R80.x, Gaia OS, SmartConsole, SmartEvent.
• Check Point Multi-Domain Security (MDS): Multi-tenancy management, policy enforcement, logging.
• Access Control & VPN: IPsec, SSL VPN, Identity Awareness, user-based access controls.
• Threat Prevention: IPS, Antivirus, Anti-Bot, SandBlast, URL filtering.
• Automation & Scripting (Preferred): Python, Ansible, Terraform.
• Cloud Security (Preferred): Check Point CloudGuard for AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Logging & Monitoring: SIEM integration, Log Exporter, SmartEvent.
• Network Protocols: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, NAT, VLAN, STP.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

• Morning shift
