Job Description:
Futurism Technologies is looking for a highly skilled and experienced L3 System / Infrastructure / Cloud Engineer to support our Managed NOC operations.
This role is responsible for advanced troubleshooting, incident management, root cause analysis, and ensuring high availability of network, server, cloud, and security infrastructure. The engineer will act as an escalation point for L1/L2 teams and ensure SLA adherence, operational excellence, and continuous service improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as L3 escalation point for major incidents (P1/P2) across infrastructure and network
- Manage and support physical, virtual, and cloud environments (Azure/AWS/GCP)
- Troubleshoot network components: firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, WAN/ISP connectivity
- Monitor and support servers, storage, authentication systems, and certificates
- Handle security alerts, rogue devices, endpoint protection alerts, vulnerability notifications
- Ensure backup success, failure resolution, and infrastructure health monitoring
- Drive patch compliance and coordinate vulnerability remediation activities
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical and recurring incidents
- Support end-user/application issues impacting infrastructure availability (email, VPN, access)
- Work with monitoring tools (ManageEngine/SolarWinds) for proactive alert handling
- Ensure SLA-based incident response and resolution
- Prepare weekly reports, monthly SLA reports, and audit-ready documentation
- Recommend and implement continuous improvement initiatives and automation
Required Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience in Infrastructure, Cloud, and NOC Operations
- Expertise in Windows/Linux server administration and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS preferred)
- Good understanding of networking concepts (L2/L3, VPN, firewall basics)
- Experience with monitoring, backup, and ticketing tools (ServiceNow preferred)
- Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills
Preferred Background
- 6–10 years of experience in Infrastructure / Cloud / Managed NOC environment
- Experience handling P1 incidents and RCA documentation
- Exposure to security operations, vulnerability, and patch management
- Certifications such as Azure Administrator, AWS, VMware VCP, ITIL are an added advantage
