Overview

We’re seeking a passionate Laravel / PHP Developer Intern to join our dynamic team! This is a full-time internship role, ideal for individuals eager to strengthen their backend development skills and work on impactful, real-world projects.

About the Role

As a Laravel / PHP Developer Intern, you will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems and real-world projects. You’ll collaborate closely with frontend developers, designers, and project managers to build secure, high-performance solutions. Daily tasks include coding, debugging, API development, database management, and following best backend development practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and optimize backend applications using PHP and Laravel.

Build and integrate RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.

Work with frontend developers to connect backend logic with UI components.

Manage databases, migrations, and relationships using Eloquent ORM.

Implement authentication, authorization, and role-based access controls.

Debug, test, and optimize application performance.

Follow best practices in coding standards, documentation, and version control (Git).

Stay updated with the latest Laravel, PHP, and web development trends.

Qualifications:

Experience with PHP and Laravel framework.

Understanding of MVC architecture, REST APIs, and backend workflows.

Familiarity with databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.

Basic knowledge of authentication, authorization, and deployment concepts.

Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.

Pursuing or completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
