Lead - Machine Learning Engineer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on AI/ML Tech Lead to join our AI/ML team. This role demands a strong technical leader who can architect, guide, and deliver scalable AI solutions while actively contributing to code and model development. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in machine learning, computer vision, LLMs, and deployment practices, along with prior experience in leading and mentoring a team of engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and deployment of AI/ML models and API-based services across domains like Computer Vision, LLMs, and Agentic AI.
• Guide and mentor a team of at least 4 AI/ML engineers, ensuring high-quality technical output and team growth.
• Own infrastructure and DevOps decisions related to AI model serving, optimization, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Data Engineering, and Product teams for seamless integration and delivery.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging AI frameworks and tools to improve development velocity and model performance.

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of experience in AI/ML, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role guiding a team.
• Proven hands-on experience in deploying production-grade ML models using Docker, FastAPI/Flask, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Deep understanding of version control (Git), containerization, and MLOps practices.
• Proficiency in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, OpenCV, and HuggingFace/Transformers.
• Exposure to agentic AI workflows, prompt engineering, and GPU-based training/inference.
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) and managing compute/GPU resources.
