Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Automation QA Engineer to join our team in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing, with deep expertise in JavaScript and hands-on experience with the Cypress framework. This role requires strong logical and analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problemsolving.
Key Responsibilities
Working Hours : 10am - 7pm or 11am - 8pmDesign, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using Cypress and JavaScript.
Lead and mentor a team of automation engineers, ensuring best practices and high-quality test automation.
Develop and implement automation strategies for efficient and scalable test execution.
Collaborate with development, product, and QA teams to define test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
Ensure high test coverage and continuously improve automation frameworks.
Identify, analyze, and report bugs and issues while ensuring smooth defect lifecycle management.
Work closely with developers to implement CI/CD pipelines and integrate automation tests.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in test automation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
7-8+ years of experience in automation testing with a focus on JavaScript-based frameworks.
Expertise in Cypress for UI and API automation.
Strong understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript (preferred), and related automation frameworks.
Experience in designing and maintaining test automation frameworks.
Strong logical and analytical thinking with an ability to debug and optimize test scripts.
Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automation tests into workflows.
Experience with version control systems (Git) and test management tools.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across teams.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC/STLC processes.
