Lead Data Engineer
We provide software product development services to overseas clients and this position is to be part of the dedicated team which provides software product development to Toorak Capital Partners https://www.toorakcapital.com/ from Mortgage Finance Industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES
You have consistently high standards, your passion for quality is inherent in everything. Well versed with GCP/AWS/AZURE based data warehouse and data engineering experience.
You evangelize an extremely high standard of code quality, system reliability, and performance. You have a proven track record coding with at least one programming language (Python, SQL) You’re skilled in data modeling & data migration protocols.
Experience in data integration (ETL/ELT) development using multiple frameworks (e.g., PySpark, SparkSQL,Airbyte,DBT).
Experience building and maintaining data pipelines supporting a variety of integration patterns (batch, replication/CDC, event streaming) and data lake/warehouse in production environments.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Overall 8+ years of experience.
- At least 4+ years of AWS/Azure/GCP Cloud and Data Lake a must.
- Exposure in implementing AWS/Azure/GCP services to build delta lake and data pipelines.
- Excellent programming skills in Python, PySpark, SQL
- Experience with Database systems such as PostgreSQL, Redshift ,BigQuery and snowflake database
- Good understanding of Data Warehousing Concepts
- Experience in data governance and lineage is an added benefit.
