Overview
The Role
We are looking for a Lead Data Scientist to build and lead our Data Science function at the intersection of Generative AI, marketing intelligence, and programmatic media.
In this role, you will combine hands-on technical leadership, advanced marketing analytics, and AI innovation to design scalable solutions that power decision-making across digital and offline media channels. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to translate complex data into actionable intelligence.
What You Will Do
Lead & Build
- Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of data scientists.
- Set technical direction and best practices across modeling, experimentation, and AI adoption.
- Drive a culture of innovation, accountability, and data-driven decision-making.
Generative AI & LLMs (Core Focus)
- Lead the design and deployment of Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) solutions for marketing and media use cases.
- Apply NLP techniques such as sentiment analysis, topic modeling, and text classification to enrich marketing insights.
- Integrate GenAI into predictive workflows, reporting automation, and proactive intelligence generation.
Advanced Marketing Analytics
- Design and implement advanced analytics and machine learning models, including:
- Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM)
- Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA)
- Propensity and RFM modeling
- Bayesian and non-parametric methods
- Apply experimentation frameworks (A/B testing, significance testing) to validate impact and optimize performance.
Predictive Modeling & Optimization
- Build predictive models to optimize revenue, audience behavior, bid strategies, and inventory performance.
- Analyze campaign and media trading data to improve eCPM, fill rates, and ROI across channels such as display, video, mobile, social, native, and advanced TV/audio.
Data Platforms & Architecture
- Architect scalable data pipelines integrating multiple sources across audience, pricing, and contextual datasets.
- Oversee integrations with DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, and other ad-tech platforms.
- Ensure high standards of data quality, governance, and performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Yield, Sales, Finance, and Operations teams.
- Translate complex analytical outputs into clear, actionable insights for business and client stakeholders.
- Contribute to the evolution of MADTECH.AI as a market-leading AI product.
What We’re Looking For
Experience & Education
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- 7–9 years of experience in Data Science, Marketing Analytics, or Predictive Modeling, with proven leadership exposure.
Technical Expertise
- Machine Learning: regression, classification, clustering, dimensionality reduction.
- Ensemble methods: Random Forest, Gradient Boosting, XGBoost.
- Strong experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and NLP in real-world applications.
- Marketing analytics frameworks: MMM, MTA, attribution modeling.
- Experimentation and statistical testing.
- Cloud platforms: AWS or GCP (model deployment and monitoring).
