Lead DevOps Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Leader with a strong background in Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, and modern DevOps tooling. Candidate should have experience in designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure solutions. This role involves ensuring the seamless integration of development and operational processes, playing a crucial part in the implementation and managing infrastructure, orchestrating containers, and monitoring systems.

Required Skills And Experience

• Hands-on expertise in Kubernetes in production environments, including managing and scaling clusters.
• Understanding of AI Models and it’s deployment on Kubernetes
• Hands-on working experience in Kustomize
• Extensive knowledge of Docker for building, deploying, and managing containers.
• Strong experience with Linux systems administration (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS).
• Ensure code quality and security with tools like SonarQube etc.
• Good to have skill in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI or similar
• Monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, etc.).
• Strong understanding of networking, security best practices, and cloud-based security solutions.
• Hands-on experience with scripting and automation tools like Bash, Python
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
  
  

• Design and implement DevOps solutions that automate software delivery pipelines and infrastructure provisioning.
  
  

Maintain scalable Kubernetes clusters to manage containerized applications across multiple environments.

• Leverage Docker to build, deploy, and manage containerized applications in development, staging, and production environments.
• Optimize and secure Linux-based environments for application performance, reliability, and security. Collaborate with development teams to implement pipelines using tools like Jenkins, FluxCD, ArgoCD or similar.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system performance, security, and availability through effective monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Hands on experience on any configuration management, deployment tools and system provisioning tools
• Implement security best practices and compliance measures, including secrets management, network segmentation, and vulnerability scanning.
• Troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Mentor and guide junior DevOps engineers and promote best practices in DevOps, automation.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and evolving DevOps tools and technologies to continuously improve systems and processes.
