Ciklum is looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to join our team full-time in India.

About the role:

As a Lead DevOps Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow, manage Azure-based ERP environments, and provide multi-level application support. This role requires strong leadership, cloud expertise, release management capability, and hands-on support across DevOps, QA, and development teams.

The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring operational excellence, continuous improvement, and high availability of business-critical ERP and Azure-hosted applications.

Responsibilities:

• DevOps Leadership & Team Management
• Lead and manage the DevOps team
• Educate, mentor, and train DevOps Engineers
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across DevOps processes
• Manage Azure DevOps for ERP workflows and lifecycle management
• Multi-Level Application & System Support
• 1st Line Support
• Provide user support via ERP SmartFactory HelpDesk
• Handle all system and user queries across applications
• Support QA and HelpDesk-related DevOps tasks
• 2nd Line Support
• Support developers in specialist subject areas
• Troubleshoot application and system-level issues
• 3rd Line Support
• Provide advanced troubleshooting across all applications
• Resolve complex system and infrastructure-related issues
• Release & Deployment Management
• Create and manage release requests
• Prepare environments for release
• Deploy approved live solutions
• Apply required configurations and dependent services
• Ensure post-release configuration and validation
• Azure Cloud & Infrastructure Management
• Manage applications hosted in sub-tenant Azure Cloud environments
• Oversee Azure environments supporting
• Dagenham PCC
• Park House DCX
• Luxembourg PICC
• DSI Billing Services
• Manage and coordinate with Managed Service Partners (e.g., Accenture / NaviSite)
• Ensure system availability, scalability, and security compliance
• Collaboration & Architecture Support
• Contribute to solution design alongside the Solution Architect
• Provide support to Software Development and QA functions
• Ensure DevOps best practices are embedded across delivery teams

Requirements:

• Expert knowledge of Azure Cloud (Sub-tenant management, configurations, services)
• Strong experience with Azure DevOps (CI/CD, pipelines, workflow management)
• Experience supporting ERP systems
• Strong release management and deployment expertise
• Hands-on experience with environment configuration and service dependencies
• Experience managing Managed Service Providers (MSPs)
• Strong troubleshooting skills across application, infrastructure, and deployment layers

Desirable:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering
• Azure certifications (preferred)
• ITIL knowledge (preferred)
• Experience working in multi-region cloud environments
