Job Role

We are seeking a hands-on Senior DevOps Lead to drive the modernization of our global infrastructure and end-to-end application deployment capabilities. This role will be pivotal in designing and implementing unified, automated, and cloud-native solutions across a highly distributed, hybrid estate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the assessment and transformation of existing infrastructure management and deployment pipelines.
• Architect and implement unified DevOps frameworks across on-prem and cloud (AWS) environments.
• Drive adoption of modern IaC, configuration management (e.g., Terraform, Chef), and GitOps practices.
• Integrate tools and processes across provisioning (VMware/Nutanix/ESXi), OS patching, and CMDB (ServiceNow).
• Guide containerization, orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS), and workload optimization initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce deployment complexity and cognitive load.
• Build automation to enable dynamic workload placement and lifecycle management.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of DevOps experience with large-scale, hybrid infrastructure.
• Expertise in AWS, VMware, Linux (RHEL), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible/Chef).
• Deep understanding of CI/CD, GitOps, container platforms (Kubernetes/EKS/OpenShift).
• Proven experience integrating disparate infrastructure tools and automating end-to-end workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to influence architecture and operations.
• Experience in performance-sensitive environments is a plus.

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to legacy-to-cloud migration and M&A infrastructure integration.
• Familiarity with cost optimization and license rationalization (VMware, AWS).
• Understanding of SRE principles and platform engineering practices.
