Role description
Job Title: Automation QA Engineer- TOSCA
Experience: 5+ Years
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in QA methodologies, test automation, and team leadership, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products aligned with business objectives.
Mandatory Skills:
- TOSCA – hands-on automation experience
- Quality Assurance best practices
- Test Automation tools and frameworks
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the QA strategy, planning, and execution for the TOSCA project.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and business analysts to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Manage a team of QA engineers (onsite/offshore) and ensure timely delivery of testing activities.
- Design and implement test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
- Conduct manual and automated testing for functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Track and report quality metrics, test progress, and defect statuses.
- Ensure adherence to QA best practices, standards, and processes.
- Coordinate with development teams to resolve defects and suggest process improvements.
- Mentor junior QA team members and perform code/test case reviews.
- Participate in release planning, risk assessments, and go/no-go decisions.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of QA experience with proven TOSCA automation expertise
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum processes.
- Proficient in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, ALM).
- Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, UFT, or similar.
- Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
- Experience in CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
