Overview

Who We Are Looking For

Lead Project Manager/Business Analyst for Portfolio Solutions with 10+ years’ experience in Financial Services. The focus is on Equity asset class, but will support other asset classes like Fixed Income, Futures, Options and Derivatives.

What You Will Be Responsible For

  • Project Management and lead business analysis discussions and requirements gathering for Portfolio Solutions projects and programs as well as tracking of project deliverables. There will be a focus on equities and derivatives trade processing and clearing as well as regulatory reporting. The candidate will have exposure to / coordination with other teams working with other asset classes.
  • Work closely with a diverse array of on-shore and off-shore team members. This includes business personnel, other program / project managers, business analysts, developers and QA team members.
  • Consult with key stakeholders in the Portfolio Solutions (PS) Trading, PS Operations, PS Compliance, as well as Risk & Regulatory reporting. Coordinate tasks, requirements and deliverables with other SSGM groups.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Over all 14-17 years of total experience and min 10+ years of experience in Financial Services, specifically in Investment & Trading systems.
  • Min 5+ years managing highly technical teams and projects.
  • Successful track record of delivering projects and programs using lightweight or Agile approaches.
  • Proven experience working with OMS applications; Fidessa ASP preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated strength in initiative-taking, leadership and influencing skills
  • Ability to analyze large volume of complex data quickly, identify key risks and drive them to closure
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast–growing and changing environment
  • Experience front-office, middle-office and back-office workflows demonstrating knowledge of the full lifecycle of a trade.
  • Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle for iterative, agile, and traditional approaches. Experience with JIRA a strong plus.
  • Expert background in Requirements Gathering and Use Case development. Ability to translate business requirements into a technical solution.
  • Strong knowledge and demonstrated use of testing methodologies and tools.

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to work off hours to align with globally distributed team members.
  • Due to the role requirements this job needs to be performed primarily in the office with some flex work opportunities available.
