Introduction
We are looking for 8+years Lead Python Developer who will take ownership of building and maintaining complex backend systems, APIs, and applications using Python.
Job Description
- Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications, APIs, and services using Python.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding standards and best practices.
- Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Implement automated testing (unit, integration) to ensure the robustness of the codebase.
- Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Collaborate with DevOps to deploy applications on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and manage Docker containers, Kubernetes, or other orchestration tools.
- Design and manage relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.
- Optimize queries, handle database migrations, and ensure the integrity and security of data.
- Work closely with DevOps, frontend developers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
- Lead efforts in improving the architecture and infrastructure of the codebase.
- Implement best practices for application and data security, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Monitor the performance of applications using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
Responsibilities include:

Primary Skills :
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience as a Python developer, with a focus on backend development.
- Proven experience in designing and deploying scalable applications and microservices.
- Strong knowledge of Python web frameworks - FastAPI.
- Proficiency in Python, with a deep understanding of Pythonic coding standards.
- Experience with RESTful API design and development.
- Familiarity with database management systems (SQL, NoSQL) and ORMs (e.g., SQLAlchemy, Django ORM).
- Hands-on experience with cloud services (GCP) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and automation tools.
- Strong understanding of security principles, authentication (OAuth2, JWT), and data protection.
Secondary Skills :
- Experience with asynchronous programming (e.g., asyncio, Aiohttp).
- Experience with big data technologies like Spark or Hadoop.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (React, Angular) is a plus.
- Experience with machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) is a plus.
