What You'll Do In The Role
- Communicate regularly with product leads across the technology organization and discuss opportunities for improvement to existing and future technology solutions.
> Derive test cases from real business use cases across UI, API, and backend flows.
> Build and maintain scalable, intelligent automation using Playwright for UI and REST Assured/PyTest for APIs.
> Partner with developers to conduct white-box testing and validate logic branches.
> Write clean, reusable test code and utilities with strong JavaScript/TypeScript or Python fundamentals.
> Contribute to unit and integration test suites, stubs, mocks, and CI/CD pipelines.
> Participate in sprint ceremonies, code reviews, and production incident postmortems.

What You'll Bring To The Role
- Ability to effectively manage multiple functions or guide junior staff and initiatives.
- Advanced understanding of business line and discipline with some knowledge of competitive environment and other disciplines.
> Strong experience with Playwright, automation frameworks, and API testing.
> Hands-on with JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and SQL.
> Exposure to microservices, message queues, or real-time systems is a plus.
> Prior experience in financial services or trading applications preferred.
- At least 6 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
