Lead Software Engineer - Java

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Java Lead Developer with over 10 years of experience in Java development and a proven ability to lead and mentor large technical teams. You will be responsible for driving the design, development, and delivery of high-quality Java-based solutions while providing strong technical leadership to a team of 10+ developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 10+ Java developers, offering technical guidance, support, and mentoring.
• Design, develop, and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable Java applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver robust solutions.
• Architect Java applications in line with business goals and industry best practices.
• Conduct regular code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in Java and share relevant insights with the team.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost team productivity, code quality, and development efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Java development.
• Proven experience in leading a team of 10 or more developers on enterprise-level projects.
• Strong expertise in:
• Core Java
• Spring Boot
• Web Services (REST/SOAP)
• Good understanding of software design patterns and system architecture.
• Hands-on experience with version control tools like Git and build tools like Maven/Gradle.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
