About The Role

As a Lead Software Engineer, you'll drive full-stack backend architecture and development using both Java and Python frameworks. You’ll lead a cross-functional team, manage technical delivery, and ensure scalable design for modern SaaS products. This is a hands-on role for those who thrive at the intersection of deep tech expertise and strong leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Architect, develop, and optimize scalable APIs and services using Java (Spring Boot) and Python (Django).

Lead end-to-end technical ownership of modules and product features.

Guide junior and mid-level engineers through design, code reviews, and delivery best practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams—Product, QA, DevOps, and Data—to deliver secure and performant solutions.

Proactively manage technical debt, code quality, and reliability.

Advocate for engineering excellence, automation, testing, and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

6+ years of hands-on backend development experience with strong command of Java and Python (Django/Flask).

Solid understanding of RESTful API design, microservices, authentication (OAuth2, JWT), and database design.

Proficient with RDBMS (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and experience with ORMs (JPA, Django ORM).

Strong background in system design, scalability, caching (Redis), messaging queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ).

Hands-on with CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes; exposure to cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure).

Experience leading small teams or mentoring engineers.

Nice To Have

Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, ELK, Grafana).

Prior work in a B2B or B2C product-based environment.
