Overview
We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer – PHP to join our CDE Team in Bangalore. This is an amazing opportunity to work on Singularity and CDE projects. The team consists of 7 people and is reporting to the Development manager.
About You – Experience, Education, Skills, And Accomplishments
- Minimum 5 years of work experience as a software developer with good understanding of software engineering lifecycle
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in PHP programming language.
- Solid technical and analytical skills. Proven ability to analyse and understand complex business processes and data architectures
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis, Design, and Programming (OOA, OOD, and OOP) experience
- Strong experience in MySQL, Linux, LAMP, AWS SQS from development standpoint.
- Experience in Python, AWS server less technologies (e.g. Lambda), JMS/SQL/ActiveMQ.
- Analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of applications using key skills cross functional team, project-based environment.
- Review functional, design and technical documentation and specifications as per project plans.
- Contributing to code and design reviews. Ensuring changes are carried out as a result of these reviews.
- Ensure that all tasks undertaken are completed to a quality standard. This includes delivery on time, within budget, and to specification.
- Maintain and optimize existing programs, working within a development team to develop additional functionality to existing systems.
The existing team is based in India, US, UK and Barcelona and brings a strong mix of technical expertise and analytical capability. Team members have deep experience across a broad range of tools and technologies, including Java, Spring Boot, Angular, PHP, Node.js, machine learning, and a wide variety of AWS services.
You would join a large, collaborative technology group responsible for designing and delivering world-class products and innovative, data-driven solutions within the Life Sciences and Healthcare domain. The team works closely with product, data, and business stakeholders to solve complex problems at scale, leveraging modern architectures and cloud-native technologies to drive real-world impact.
Hours of Work
This is a permanent opportunity with Clarivate, 9 hours per day including 1 hour lunch break.
