We are looking for a Lead Test Engineer

You’ll make a difference by:

• Conducting thorough testing of CNC machines, good knowledge on Sinumerik systems is beneficial.
• Developing and executing test plans, procedures, and scripts to ensure the functionality and performance of CNC machines.
• Automating the basic use cases using python. Test script maintenance and adaptation for multiple targets.
• Understanding field or customer issues, debug, perform in-depth analysis, identify the root cause.
• Identifying, documenting, and troubleshooting issues related to CNC machine operations.
• Collaborating with engineering and production teams to improve testing processes and machine performance.
• Staying updated with the latest advancements in CNC technology and automation.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Troubleshooting customer problems & provide timely feedback & support.
• Making sure all required tests are executed on identified versions and platforms.
• Performing Risk Based Testing and test case optimization on all applicable platforms.
• Striving for Continuous improvement of existing tests, tools, and processes.
• Providing timely status to the stakeholders & management.
  
  

You’ll win us over by:

• Holding a degree BE / B. Tech / M. Tech / ME or equivalent preferably in Electronics / Electrical / Mechatronics/ Instrumentation/Comp. Science with 5-7 years of experience in handling CNC systems, with a focus on Sinumerik systems.
• Having a strong understanding of CNC machine operations, programming, and maintenance.
• Having experience with automation technologies and willingness to learn new tools and techniques.
• Possessing excellent critical thinking skills and diligence.
• Having exposure to Configuration management tools (e.g., TFS, ClearCase, GIT)
• Exhibiting effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Having the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Possessing good interpersonal Communication skills to manage international customers.
• Having exposure to any of the test automation framework.
• Being knowledgeable of any defect management tools, lean/agile practices, Testing life cycle and Release processes and Product Lifecycle Management processes.
