Linux System Administrator

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Linux System Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and improving our Linux-based systems and ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our infrastructure. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for Linux systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers, including physical and virtual environments.
• Monitor system performance and ensure the availability of key services through proactive maintenance.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and directory services.
• Automate routine tasks using scripting (e.g., Bash, Python) to improve operational efficiency.
• Perform regular system updates, patches, and security hardening to protect against vulnerabilities.
• Configure and troubleshoot services such as Apache, Nginx, MySQL, PostgreSQL, DNS, DHCP, and FTP.
• Set up and manage backup and recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Analyze and resolve system errors, hardware/software issues, and performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with DevOps, network, and application teams to support production and development environments.
• Maintain system documentation, procedures, and logs for audits and compliance purposes.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in Linux systems.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Pay: ₹7,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
