About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled ML/AI Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Python and SQL, with hands-on experience deploying and iterating on Machine Learning (ML) and Large Language Model (LLM)-based solutions. You will work on cutting-edge projects involving prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and integration of LLMs within data pipelines and downstream applications.

*Key Responsibilities: *

• Develop, test, and optimize ML/LLM solutions using Python, SQL, and relevant frameworks.
• Implement practical use cases such as prompt engineering, RAG, and LLM integration with data systems.
• Translate complex business questions into deployable ML solutions, ensuring speed, correctness, and impact.
• Collaborate within fast-paced, cross-functional teams to deliver results efficiently.
• Monitor, debug, and enhance LLM applications, including multi-step or long-running processes.
• Stay current with latest advancements in LLM and GenAI technologies, experimenting with new techniques as needed.

*Required Skills & Qualifications: *

• Overall professional experience of 2+ years in relevant roles.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in implementing and deploying ML/LLM solutions.
• Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks and tooling such as Lang Chain.
• Proven experience of executing LLM/GenAI use cases in practical settings—prompt engineering, RAG, data pipeline integration.
• Demonstrated ability to convert business needs into technical solutions with a focus on execution.
• Familiarity with modern data and ML tools, and comfortable working in dynamic, cross-functional environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and independent work skills.
• High reliability and accountability in delivering quality work on schedule.

*Nice to Have: *

• Experience with reinforcement learning, fine-tuning, or lightweight RL techniques applied to LLMs.
• Familiarity with LLM agent design patterns, including debugging and monitoring multi-step or long-running executions.
• Research or exploratory experience in experimenting with new techniques and applying recent advances in LLM/GenAI.
