Let’s talk about Responsibilities:
As a Machine Learning Intern at ResMed, you'll gain hands-on experience working with our leading-edge ML Engineering team to build and deliver impactful AI/ML software solutions. You'll collaborate with ML engineers, data scientists, and data engineers to:

• Develop and enhance our global AI/ML platform: You'll contribute to building scalable and robust systems capable of handling large data volumes.
• Build and showcase AI/ML models: You'll own the end-to-end process of creating MVP applications that demonstrate the value of our models.
• Automate and improve ML workflows: You'll develop production-grade features and automation for tasks like feature pipelines, inference, continuous training, and model monitoring.
• Solve complex AI challenges: You'll participate in design sessions and brainstorm with the team to find innovative solutions using scalable architecture.
• Support model productionization: You'll partner with data scientists to ensure their models are successfully deployed and operationalized.
• Utilize cutting-edge tools: You'll work with Python, AWS, and Terraform, and gain skills in code review and end-to-end testing.

Let’s talk about Qualifications & Experience:

• Master's degree in a relevant field (Mathematics, Statistics, AI, ML, Data Science etc.)
• Basic Data Science knowledge
• Basic knowledge of data collection, preparation, and feature engineering pipelines
• Basic skills in designing and implementing experiments to test hypotheses and improve models

• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines • Basic knowledge of pre-trained ML models (transformers, LLMs, etc.)

• Basic ability to design and implement algorithms using existing Python packages
• Basic understanding of designing, implementing, and maintaining models using cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of tools for model development, deployment, and feature engineering (Jupyter Lab, AWS Sagemaker, Feast, Azure ML, etc.)
• Experience with MLOps practices and tools
• Knowledge of distributed systems and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Experience with natural language processing or computer vision models • Ability to work full-time for 11 months.

• Strong technical experience through projects, research, or previous internships

• Exceptional communication skills and interest/enthusiasm for the healthcare industry .
