About the Role:
We are looking for a Business Data Analyst who will play a key role in making our financial planning more data-driven, efficient, and insightful. This role involves working closely with the FP&A lead and business leaders, translating large and complex datasets into clear, actionable insights, and enabling smarter financial decisions. If you enjoy solving problems through data, building reporting systems, and connecting numbers with business performance, you’ll find this role both challenging and rewarding.
Finance Vision:
The Finance team at Virohan partners closely with business leaders to drive growth, profitability, and financial discipline. Our vision is to create a single source of truth for financial performance, enabling timely interventions, accurate forecasting, and a clear understanding of margins and revenue drivers.
The FP&A Analytics function will form the backbone of this vision, providing accurate data, reliable models, and deep insights that guide strategic and operational decisions.
You will own the Finance Analytics function, which spans:
● Building the Analytics Backbone for FP&A
- Structure and maintain financial datasets from multiple systems (ERP, CRM, revenue & cost data sources).
- Create automated dashboards and reports to support decision-making for finance and business leaders.
● Unifying Financial Data Sources
- Integrate revenue, cost, and margin data to give a single view of financial performance.
- Identify inefficiencies and suggest process optimisations backed by data.
● Driving Insights for Business Performance
- Analyse high-volume datasets to uncover patterns, forecast trends, and support planning cycles (AOP, budgets, forecasts).
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure insights translate into action.
● KPI Tracking & Measurement
- Define, measure, and monitor key financial and business KPIs, building alerts and early-warning systems.
You are the right fit if:
● 3-5 years of experience in Analytics / FP&A / Business Intelligence / Financial Analysis
● Strong in SQL & Excel; comfortable working with large, complex datasets
● Proficient in dashboarding/BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio)
● Knowledge of Python (good to have for automation and advanced analytics)
● Strong business understanding – ability to connect financial analysis to real-world decisions.
● Detail-oriented, with a knack for spotting opportunities others miss
● Strong stakeholder management skills—able to work with multiple teams to drive initiatives forward.
