EY Technology supports our technology needs through three business units:

• Client Technology (CT) - focuses on developing new technology services for our clients. It enables EY to identify new technology-based opportunities faster and pursue those opportunities more rapidly.
• Enterprise Workplace Technology (EWT) – EWT supports our Core Business Services functions and will deliver fit-for-purpose technology infrastructure at the cheapest possible cost for quality services. EWT will also support our internal technology needs by focusing on a better user experience.
• Information Security (Info Sec) - Info Sec prevents, detects, responds and mitigates cyber-risk, protecting EY and client data, and our information management systems.
  
  

The Technical Scrum Lead, Specialist is responsible for driving Agile adoption and execution within technology teams, ensuring efficient sprint execution and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This role involves facilitating Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives, to keep teams aligned and productive.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional agile teams in iterative technology development, ensuring smooth collaboration and adherence to Agile/Scrum principles.
• Coach teams on best practices, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improving agile maturity.
• Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to define, prioritize and align technology-related outcomes with business goals.
• Identify and proactively remove roadblocks that hinder project progress, ensuring teams have the necessary resources and support.
• Manage stakeholder expectations by maintaining transparency around scope, schedule and budget while effectively addressing concerns.
• Facilitate key agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives to ensure alignment and continuous improvement.
• Assist teams in estimating deliverables, increasing velocity and identifying opportunities for efficiency.
• Maintain product and sprint backlogs, ensuring tasks are documented, prioritized and aligned with evolving business needs.
• Apply agile methodologies to integrate changing customer inputs and business conditions into technology-related product development.
• Serve as a mentor, thought leader and agile champion, participating in special projects to drive organizational agility.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, in Agile project management, Scrum Master roles, or technical leadership in software development.
• Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in Scrum, Kanban and SAFe frameworks, with a deep understanding of Agile principles and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps and other Agile project management tools.
  
  

• Strong verbal and written communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Be highly flexible, adaptable, and creative.
• Comfortable interacting with senior executives (within the firm and at the client)
