Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Manual Tester with 2 to 3 years of experience in software testing, particularly in the Life Insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in renewal and new business communication processes. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of insurance applications by executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze business requirements and prepare test cases, test scenarios, and test data.

Perform manual testing for life insurance applications, focusing on renewals and new business communication.

Execute functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Identify, document, and track defects in defect management tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or similar.

Validate policy renewals, premium calculations, coverage details, and endorsements for accuracy.

Ensure compliance with insurance regulatory requirements and business rules.

Conduct test execution, report findings, and provide test status updates.

Verify document generation, email communications, and notifications related to life insurance policies.

Assist in root cause analysis of issues and provide suggestions for process improvement.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Skills :

2 to 3 years of experience in manual testing.

Strong knowledge of life insurance processes, including policy issuance, renewals, and endorsements.

Experience in testing business communication such as policy documents, renewal notices, and customer correspondence.

Proficiency in test case design, test execution, and defect reporting.

Experience with test management tools like JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail, or similar.

Strong understanding of STLC, SDLC, and defect lifecycle.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
