Job Title: Manual Test Engineer - Intern
Location: Sector - 74, Mohali
Duration: 6 months
Department: Quality Assurance / Engineering
Reports To: QA Lead / Test Manager

About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated Manual Test Engineer Intern to join our QA team. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in software testing processes and help ensure the quality and functionality of our applications by executing test cases and identifying bugs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand project requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
• Design, document, and execute test cases for web, mobile, or desktop applications.
• Report bugs clearly and concisely with proper steps to reproduce.
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand features and resolve issues.
• Perform regression, functional, and exploratory testing.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings (Agile environment).
• Assist in maintaining test documentation and logs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing life cycle (STLC).
• Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of basic SQL for database validation.
• Exposure to web or mobile testing.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹6,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
