Job Description:
- OSI layers (Switching & routing knowledge)
- TCP/UDP difference
- Wi-Fi Standards (802.11)-Like a/b/g/n- 2GHz/5GHz (6GHz-optional)
- Wi-Fi Standards differences- basic and supported rates
- WLAN protocols- DHCP, IPv4/IPv6, TCP vs UDP
- Security types – 4 way hand-shake (mandatory)- WPA3-optional
- Should have basic knowledge on Wireshark, iperf, tcpdump, etc
- Wireshark filters
- How a device connects to a router and get IP (Beacon-Probe-Assoc-4waykey-Auth-DHCP)
- Basic debugging skills- Ex. Device not connecting to a router
