Job Description

Job title: Medior Manual Tester
Experience: 3-6 years
Work Location: Bengaluru (Hybrid)

About the Role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Medior Manual Test Engineer with experience in Manufacturing or ERP systems. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of SDLC & STLC, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams. This is a hybrid role based in Bengaluru.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual functional, regression, integration, and system testing for ERP or Manufacturing applications.
• Understand business requirements and create test scenarios, test cases, and test data accordingly.
• Execute tests, identify defects, and work closely with developers and product teams to ensure timely resolutions.
• Validate end-to-end workflows within ERP or manufacturing modules.
• Document results, prepare test reports, and contribute to overall product quality.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies, requirement discussions, and review meetings.
• Ensure adherence to QA standards, processes, and best practices.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in Manual Testing.
• Strong domain knowledge in Manufacturing or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, etc.).
• Proficiency in writing detailed test cases, test scripts, and defect reports.
• Hands-on experience with bug-tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• Basic understanding of SQL for data validation (good to have).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Good to Have

• Exposure to API testing basics.
• Understanding of automation fundamentals (optional but beneficial).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
