Mindruby Technologies - Lead Data Engineer - Snowflake DB

Overview

We are looking for a Lead Data Engineer - Snowflake who will own end-to-end data engineering delivery, lead a team, and drive scalable data solutions on Snowflake. The role requires strong technical expertise along with client-facing and delivery management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical & Architecture
• Design and implement scalable data warehouse solutions using Snowflake.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Perform data modeling (dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas).
• Ensure performance tuning, cost optimization, and workload management in Snowflake.
• Implement data security, RBAC, governance, and compliance standards.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake Streams & Tasks for data processing and orchestration.
• Experience implementing and managing Snowpipe for automated data ingestion.
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures, warehouse contention, query spills, and task failures.
  
  

• Lead and mentor the data engineering team, drive technical standards, conduct code reviews, and ensure continuous improvement.
  
  

Delivery Management

• Own end-to-end project planning and execution, ensuring timely delivery and high stakeholder satisfaction while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  
  

Client & Presales Engagement

• Participate in presales and solutioning discussions.
• Understand client requirements and propose scalable architectures.
• Provide technical presentations and effort estimations.
  
  

• 6-8 years of experience in Data Engineering (5-6 years may be considered with strong exposure).
• 3+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience.
• Strong SQL and performance optimization skills.
• Experience with ETL tools (DBT, Airflow, Informatica, Talend, etc.).
• Experience working on cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
• Strong communication and client interaction skills.
• Proven experience in team handling and project delivery.
  
  

• Snowflake certification
• Experience with Snowflake Dynamic Tables.
• Exposure to CI/CD implementation for Snowflake objects (Git-based deployments).
• Experience in defining migration validation strategies for data warehouse projects.
• Ability to perform credit workload sizing and cost estimation for Snowflake environments.
