MIS Data Engineer

Overview

Job Summary :

We are looking for a MIS (Management Information System) Data Engineer to work with data models designed by the client and develop data pipelines, reports, and dashboards to support business decision-making. The role involves handling ETL processes, database management, and reporting tools to ensure accurate and efficient data delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

• Work with pre-defined data models to create and maintain MIS reports and dashboards.
• Develop and optimize ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
• Manage databases, file formats, and structured/semi-structured data.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security in reports.
• Automate data reporting processes to improve efficiency.
• Work with SQL, Python, and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• Collaborate with internal teams to align MIS reports with business needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data quality and performance issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in MIS reporting, data engineering, or database management.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or Excel (Macros, VBA preferred).
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL pipelines.
• Knowledge of various file formats (CSV, JSON, Parquet, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
