Mobile Engineer (React Native)

About The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Engineer to spearhead the development of our first mobile application. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and shape the entire app development process from scratch, making significant contributions to the project and the company.

What You Will Do:

Lead the development of our first mobile application using React Native.

Collaborate with product and UX/UI designers to build a great experience for our customers.

Work closely with the backend and web engineers to ensure seamless user experience across platforms.

Design and implement robust app architectures and complex user interfaces.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.

Raise the engineering bar, set development standards and identify and correct bottlenecks.

Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.

5+ years of experience in mobile application development.

Proficient in React Native with a strong understanding of iOS and Android ecosystem.

Familiarity with modern mobile frameworks (Rx, IoC/DI, analytics, A/B testing, etc) and tools (e.g. build systems like Bazel).

Experience in building and deploying mobile apps from scratch.

Solid understanding of mobile app architecture and life cycle.

Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code.

Strong problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience leading mobile app development projects.

7+ years of experience in mobile application development.

Experience with automated testing frameworks and continuous integration.

Familiarity with cloud messaging APIs, push notifications and building e-commerce marketplace.

Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment and collaborate with engineers across various time zones.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
