Your Role:

• Analyze user requirements and develop test cases accordingly
• Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs in the system
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Work with the development team to ensure quality during the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing
• Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software
• Analyze the performance of the application under different conditions and document observations
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
• Contribute to the design and implementation of best practices and standards in automation testing
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure the resolution of system issues
  
  

• 4.5 to 9 years experience in Automation Testing.
• Develop and automate tests for software validation.
• Establish test strategies and manual or automated test suites.
• Understand the QA process and suggest improvements.
• Investigate, report, track, and propose fixes for bugs.
• Participate in software design reviews and provide input on functional requirements and potential problems.
• Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation and automated scripts.
• Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.
• Work collaboratively with the development team to understand project objectives, gather automation requirements, design automated tests, troubleshoot issues, and implement scalable test automation solutions.
