The Opportunity

We at Nutanix Move build VM Mobility solutions between and across On-Prem Data centers and Public Clouds. The Nutanix Move team is looking to hire a strong technical individual contributor to help define and drive development of the next-gen Move UI.

You will report to the Director of Engineering, who values open communication, mentorship, and the professional development of team members. This role offers a hybrid work setup, requiring you to come into the office 2–3 days a week, allowing for a balance between collaboration with your teammates and focused time on individual work.

Your Role

• You will build & design highly engaging UI features for the core product.
• Work closely with product and design teams to create a consumer-grade user experience for industry-shaping products.
• Work closely with development, test, documentation and product management teams to deliver high-quality products in a fast-paced environment.
• Engage with customers and support when needed to solve issues.
  
  

What You Will Bring

• 3+ years of experience as a Front-End/UI engineer
• Experience in designing and implementing exceptional user interfaces in HTML5. Javascript and CSS
• Experience in SPA and frameworks like ReactJS/BackboneJS/AngularJS is a must.
• Excellent understanding and experience of integrating with REST API and JSON is a must.
• Experience working with virtualization technologies like VMware, KVM, Hyper-V
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field required.
  
  

Work Arrangement

Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. For most roles, that will mean coming into an office a minimum of 3 days per week, however certain roles and/or teams may require more frequent in-office presence. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.
