Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize MySQL databases for high performance and scalability.
• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database triggers.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate database solutions into application logic.
• Perform routine database maintenance, upgrades, and performance tuning.
• Ensure database security, backup, and recovery procedures are well-documented and tested.
• Monitor and troubleshoot slow queries, locking issues, and data inconsistencies.
• Participate in database design and code reviews to ensure adherence to standards.

Mandatory Technical Skills- Job Seniority: 4–6 years

• Strong proficiency in MySQL (v5.7/8.0) and database design concepts.
• Expertise in writing optimized SQL queries and understanding query execution plans.
• Experience with stored procedures, functions, triggers, indexes, and data modeling.
• Familiarity with MySQL performance tuning and optimization techniques.
• Proficient in data migration, ETL processes, and database version control.
• Familiarity with cloud-based MySQL deployments (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure Database for MySQL).- Good to have
  
  

Good to Have Skills

• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis) is a plus.
• Knowledge of tools like MySQL Workbench, Percona Toolkit, or phpMyAdmin.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices related to database management.
• Ability to work with ORMs and application frameworks (e.g., Django, Laravel, Hibernate).
