Network Engineer - Fresher

Overview

About the job:

Implement and manage network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers

Monitor and analyze network performance, traffic, and usage

Plan and execute network upgrades, migrations, and expansions

Create and maintain network documentation (topology, configurations, SOPs)

Ensure network security using firewalls, ACLs, and industry best practices

Apply modern networking technologies and recommend improvements

Work with Cisco Systems (IOS/NX-OS) and Palo Alto Networks firewalls

Demonstrate strong knowledge of networking protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, VLAN, STP, HSRP, OSPF, and BGP

Configure and manage Cisco wireless infrastructure (WAP and WLC)

Apply network security concepts, including firewalls and VPNs

Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, routing, switching, and firewall-related issues

Use network monitoring and management tools effectively
