Network Engineer

Overview

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with a strong background in network monitoring, installation, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with routers, data center class switches in a spine and leaf architecture, as well as expertise in IT security systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues across various environments.
• Install, configure, and maintain routers and data center class switches, ensuring optimal performance.
• Support and maintain a spine and leaf switching architecture.
• Manage and maintain firewalls and Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS).
• Conduct regular network assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities.
• Implement security measures and best practices to safeguard network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address network-related issues and implement solutions.
• Document network configurations, changes, and standard operating procedures.
• Provide technical support and escalate issues as necessary.

Qualifications:

• CCNA certification with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or CCNP certification with at least 1 year of experience.
• BE/B-tech - IT/CS/ECE
• Proven experience in network installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• At least 2 years of experience in managing firewalls and security systems.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs).
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and software.
• Understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.62 per month
