Network Engineer

1. Proven experience with the design and testing of network and security infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, IDS, WAN, SAN and other support systems. Familiarity with Internet and WAN communications technologies, protocols, and best practices.

2. In-depth comprehension of networking concepts including network design principles, data flow determination, routing, switching, VLANs, IP addressing, etc., Fiber Channel over Ethernet

3. Understanding of advanced data centre networking equipment including Cisco ACI fabric, Cisco routers, DR integration, Next gen firewalls, VPN etc .Network L2 AND L3 Switches ( Cisco , Aruba , HP , D-Link )

4. Understanding/ knowledge of Wireless Network – Aruba wireless access points, Controller

5. Good understanding of advanced networking technologies, virtualization technologies, and solutions including MPLS, virtual route forwarding, virtual device contexts, multicast routing, policy-based routing, ether-channel, QoS, load balancing, VPN tunnels, WAN Optimization, load balancing, etc.

6. Understanding/ knowledge of Firewall: - Sophos.

7. IP Addressing (Schemas, VLANS, DNS, DHCP)

8. Good understanding of layered network and security protocols including: OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, DMVPN, VRRP, HSRP, GLBP, ICMP, ESP (IPSEC), BGP

9. Experience and understanding of newer network technologies like Spine and Leaf, SDN, NFV, Open stack, OpenFlow and NSX

10. Must have certifications : CCNA /CCNP / CCDP / CCIE

11. Exposure to ITIL concepts and adoption.

12. Qualification: BCA/BSc IT/MSc IT/or relevant certifications.
