Role: Network Engineer
Location: Kharadi Pune

The Network Engineer will configure and deploy network infrastructure, ensuring adherence to architectural standards. This role involves executing implementation scripts, collaborating with senior engineers, and supporting access point configuration. The Network Engineer will perform hands-on tasks, troubleshoot during rollouts, and resolve implementation issues. Additionally, they will create, and update documentation related to network configurations.

The Network Engineer will configure and deploy network infrastructure, ensuring adherence to architectural standards. This role involves executing implementation scripts, collaborating with senior engineers, and supporting access point configuration. The Network Engineer will perform hands-on tasks, troubleshoot during rollouts, and resolve implementation issues. Additionally, they will create, and update documentation related to network configurations.
What will you be doing?
Technical Infrastructure Delivery (70%)
- Configure and deploy infrastructure for network projects while maintaining architectural standards.
- Execute and adapt implementation scripts based on prepared network designs.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to validate and run configuration scripts for Cisco devices.
- Support access point configuration and deployment.
- Perform hands-on implementation tasks, including equipment setup and validation.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting during the rollout phase to ensure stable performance.
- Work with project stakeholders to resolve issues during implementation.
- Create and update documentation related to implemented configurations.
- Manage and maintain network equipment and assets.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree qualifications in information technology is required
- Licenses/ Certifications: CCNA certification or equivalent practical knowledge.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in network implementation or operations
- Solid experience with Cisco network equipment (routers, switches, access points).
- Ability to read, understand, and modify scripts used for network configuration.
- Familiarity with standard networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, WLAN, NAC).
- Practical troubleshooting skills in enterprise network environments.
- Experience with Cisco DNAC or similar tools is a plus but not mandatory.
- Nice to have:
- Prior experience in large-scale rollout or migration projects.
- Familiarity with SolarWinds or other monitoring tools.
- Availability for after-hours implementation work, depending on business needs.
