Network Engineer 3

Overview

The Senior Network Consultant acts as the final point of escalation for enterprise network issues and contributes to architecture, optimization, and lifecycle management of multi-client environments built on Cisco and Fortinet technologies. The role blends deep hands-on troubleshooting with design ownership, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across routing, switching, firewall, and wireless infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, validate, and optimize enterprise network architectures that ensure scalability and resilience.
• Serve as Tier-3 SME, performing advanced troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and configuration remediation.
• Manage and enhance Cisco and Fortinet environments (Routing / Switching / Firewall / Wireless - Cisco WLC / Ruckus).
• Implement routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and secure VPN solutions.
• Oversee firmware and configuration lifecycle management; maintain change and compliance controls.
• Use observability tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, NetBrain) for monitoring and performance optimization.
• Support Tier-1 / Tier-2 engineers and collaborate with global teams on MBR/QBR reviews and CAB updates.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 7 + years of enterprise or service-provider network engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in Cisco R&S, Fortinet firewalls, and wireless.
• Certifications: CCNP (required); Fortinet NSE 4 (preferred).
• Excellent communication, documentation, and client-interaction skills.
• Ability to work independently across multiple client environments from office location in rotational shifts
