Network Engineer

Overview

• Manage and support routing, switching, and overall network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS).
• Perform network health checks, monitor performance, and ensure high system availability and reliability.
• Handle incident management, including P1 issues, vendor coordination, and troubleshooting across global teams.
• Conduct capacity planning, system utilization trending, and proactive performance monitoring.
• Work within established Change Management and MIM processes for safe and compliant network updates.
• Review system changes for security impacts and recommend improvements. Provide hands‑on technical support for network and security appliances.
  
  

• Strong understanding of networking protocols (IPSEC, BGP, OSPF, HSRP, 802.11, QoS).
• Hands-on experience with ticketing, monitoring, network diagnostics, and analytics tools.
• Solid knowledge of WAN technologies, transport protocols, and large-scale wireless deployments (500+ users per site).
• Experience with security tools: antivirus, SIEM, cryptography, firewalls, etc.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in threat identification and security control implementation.
• Expertise with major network/security platforms: Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper, F5, Cloudflare.
