Network Engineer

Overview

Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Network Engineer Trainee / Network Support Engineer with a strong foundation in networking concepts and a passion for learning enterprise network operations. The ideal candidate should have completed B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) and possess CCNA training with a good understanding of routing, switching, and networking fundamentals.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist in monitoring and maintaining network infrastructure and connectivity.
• Support routing and switching operations in enterprise environments.
• Troubleshoot basic network issues related to LAN/WAN connectivity.
• Work with routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices.
• Understand and support TCP/IP networking protocols and configurations.
• Participate in real-time NOC (Network Operations Center) activities and incident management.
• Collaborate with internal teams for network support and issue resolution.
• Maintain documentation related to network configurations and troubleshooting steps.
• Learn and adapt to enterprise networking tools and operational processes.

Required Skills:

• B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) – Mandatory.
• CCNA training/certification preferred.
• Good understanding of networking basics, routing, and switching concepts.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and networking technologies.
• Familiarity with routers, switches, firewalls, and network-related software/tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in network engineering and NOC operations.

Good To Have Skills:

• Exposure to enterprise networking environments.
• Basic understanding of network security concepts.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting methodologies and ticketing tools.
