Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in configuring, implementing, and maintaining a hybrid network environment that includes global on-premises data centres and public cloud services.
• Support the setup and management of network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Help implement and manage WAN technologies.
• Contribute to the design and deployment of network architectures that ensure high availability, scalability, and security.
• Monitor network activity and proactively identify potential issues.
• Utilize network monitoring tools to track performance and detect problems.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving network-related issues.
• Participate in network capacity planning and infrastructure upgrades.
• Document network configurations and procedures.
• Create and maintain detailed network diagrams, configuration documents, and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network solutions with applications and services.
• Stay updated on the latest networking technologies and best practices.
• Continuously learn and apply new networking technologies and methodologies.
• Be willing to work off-hours and weekends as needed.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Information Technology, primarily focused on networking.
• Experience in configuring and managing network devices.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Understanding of networking principles and protocols.
• Knowledge of common networking protocols such as BGP and OSPF
• Familiarity with cloud networking technologies is a plus.
• Basic understanding of cloud networking services and concepts.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot network connectivity issues effectively.
• Experience with ITIL framework.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to continuous learning.
• Dedication to staying current with industry trends and technologies.

• Ownership of tasks and projects, ensuring high-quality completion and accountability for meeting deadlines.
