Network Engineer L2

Overview

Job Summary:

The Level 2 Network Administrator is responsible for supporting and maintaining the organization's network infrastructure. This includes troubleshooting escalated network issues, monitoring performance, configuring hardware, and assisting in network upgrades to ensure high availability and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated network issues (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls).
• Perform network monitoring and analyze performance metrics using tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, or similar.
• Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
• Assist with implementing network upgrades and patch management.
• Manage user access, VLANs, and IP address allocation.
• Work closely with L1 support and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Maintain network documentation and diagrams.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLANs.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or similar network hardware.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
