We are currently seeking a proactive and skilled Network Engineer to join our Network Operations Center (NOC) team.

Job Description:

As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and managing the local and wide area networks (LANs/WANs) of AT Broadband. You will ensure network reliability and performance, provide hands-on troubleshooting for issues, and assist with scaling and optimizing our infrastructure. This is a critical role within our 24/7 operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot routers, switches, and access points across AT Broadband’s network.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and other network and system problems.
• Implement and configure new network equipment to support infrastructure expansion.
• Perform routine audits of systems and software, apply updates, patches, and configuration changes.
• Analyze network traffic and performance to identify bottlenecks or potential issues.
• Collaborate with field engineers and technical support teams to manage customer-impacting incidents.
• Maintain and update network documentation, diagrams, and incident records.
• Participate in capacity planning, network design improvements, and failover strategy implementation.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide support during after-hours incidents or maintenance windows.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in a Network Engineer or NOC role.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLAN, STP, etc.).
• Familiarity with Cisco/Juniper/ MikroTik devices; configuration and troubleshooting experience required.
• Experience with network monitoring tools like Zabbix, SolarWinds, or PRTG.
• Solid problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
