Overview
Are you a DevOps engineer who thrives on preventing outages rather than merely responding to them? If unraveling legacy infrastructure and crafting efficient, automated systems is your idea of a challenge, we have the perfect opportunity for you. Join us as a DevOps and AWS infrastructure expert, where you'll navigate high-pressure scenarios and ensure 99.9% uptime. You'll be tasked with transforming a diverse range of acquired products into a cohesive, scalable AWS ecosystem, complete with robust monitoring and automation that minimize incidents.
While many positions focus on maintaining a single stack, we challenge you to optimize multiple stacks, ensuring nothing breaks in the process. Our approach involves strategic database consolidation to enhance cost and management efficiency. This role isn't for those content with the status quo; it's for innovators eager to redesign fragmented environments into well-oiled machines.
You'll take charge of tasks ranging from infrastructure migrations to AI-driven automation, performance optimization, database transitions, and cost-efficiency strategies. Your role involves diagnosing issues, executing seamless cloud migrations with minimal downtime, and automating tasks through AI/ML-enhanced workflows. Empowered to make key infrastructure decisions, you won't be bogged down by endless approvals from those disconnected from the technical realities.
If you're an independent problem-solver who excels at untangling complex systems and achieving flawless operations, this role is your canvas. But, if you require constant guidance, struggle with multiple tech stacks, or prefer starting from scratch over creating order from chaos, this might not be the right fit. Ready to own a high-impact infrastructure role with opportunities for innovation and automation at scale? Apply now!

What You Will Be Doing
- Lead intricate infrastructure transformations, including transitions from legacy systems to AWS cloud infrastructure and lift-and-shift migrations.
- Craft and deploy monitoring strategies, and develop automations for system monitoring, software deployment, and operational processes.
- Engage in system monitoring, backups, incident management, database migrations, configurations, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Being tied down by Jira and endless status meetings – we focus on solution-driven individuals, not problem trackers.

- Getting stuck in bureaucratic approval chains – you'll have the authority to implement immediate fixes to resolve issues.
- Being limited to narrow technical areas – this role demands both extensive and in-depth expertise.
- Struggling for budget to make necessary improvements – we recognize the value of infrastructure investment.
- Enhance the reliability and standardization of cloud infrastructure across our expanding product portfolio through effective monitoring, automation, and adherence to AWS best practices.
