About the Role

We are looking for a for Network Security Engineers with 4-5 years of Experience to join our team to drive growth.

What You’ll Be Doing

Reporting to Sr Engineer – Networking team of Engineering department & the key responsibilities would be to: 

Responsibilities:

Operating Systems:

• Strong working knowledge of Windows 10 and Linux environments for basic troubleshooting and network connectivity issues.

Switching:

• Hands-on experience with L2 and L3 switching, including VLAN configuration, trunking, Inter-VLAN routing, STP, EtherChannel, and Port Security.

Routing:

• Proficient in Static Routing and dynamic routing protocols such as RIP, OSPF, and BGP (basic to intermediate).

Network Devices:

• Configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Cisco and Juniper series switches and routers.

Firewalls:

• Experience with enterprise-grade firewalls: FortiGate is must
• Strong troubleshooting skills in firewall policy configurations, NAT, VPN setups (Site-to-Site & Remote Access), IDS/IPS, traffic shaping, and SD-WAN environments.
• Daily log analysis and proactive incident detection and remediation.

Monitoring & Network Management:

• Proficient in using network monitoring tools like PRTG, OpManager, HP Network Node Manager (NNM), and SolarWinds for health checks and proactive alerts.

Daily Operations:

• Conduct daily health checks of network infrastructure: monitoring latency, packet loss, bandwidth usage, and data center performance.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills for complex network issues.
• Effectively manage and document customer issues in detail, ensuring timely resolution.
• Responsible for escalation to L3 support or vendors when necessary, with thorough problem documentation and follow-up.

Cloud Networking (AWS):

• Familiarity with AWS networking concepts and architectures.
• Experience in AWS VPN deployment and configuration of FortiGate and Juniper firewalls within AWS environments.

Information Security Awareness:

• Foundational knowledge of security standards such as ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI-DSS.
• Awareness of Ozonetel Information Security Framework, policies, and standards (if applicable).
• Maintain security hygiene across desktop, server, application, database, and network layers.

Education Qualification:

• B.Tech / B.E in ECE, EEE, CSE, or IT
• B.Sc. graduates with relevant networking experience are also encouraged to apply

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
