Required Certifications: NSE 1 / NSE 2 certificate

Key Responsibilities:

1. Network Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution

• Diagnose and resolve complex network issues, including connectivity disruptions, performance bottlenecks, and security breaches.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools to monitor, analyze, and address network abnormalities.

2. Network Design and Implementation

• Collaborate with senior engineers and IT architects to design scalable, high-performance network infrastructures aligned with business goals.
• Configure and deploy network devices such as switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs.

3. Network Performance Optimization

• Analyze performance metrics to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements to optimize speed, stability, and reliability.
• Conduct capacity planning and recommend infrastructure upgrades to meet evolving business needs.

4. Network Security and Compliance

• Implement and maintain comprehensive network security measures to protect against cyber threats and unauthorized access.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements.

5. Network Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain detailed network documentation, including diagrams, configuration records, and incident reports.
• Generate regular reports on network performance, security incidents, and project updates.

6. Network Upgrades and Project Execution

• Lead and contribute to network-related projects, upgrades, and migrations, ensuring timely and successful implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network solutions with broader IT and business strategies.

7. Network Monitoring and Maintenance

• Continuously monitor network performance and proactively respond to alerts to minimize downtime.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including firmware updates, patching, and system backups.

8. Training and Knowledge Sharing

• Mentor and support junior network engineers, fostering skill development and technical expertise.
• Share best practices and contribute to a culture of continuous learning within the IT department.
