Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer Lead to join our team at EIL Global IT Solutions and Services Pvt Ltd. Duration – 5-6 months, extension possible. This is a mid-level position, available remotely overseas. The base location should be Delhi/NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, or Hyderabad. The employment types include Fixed-Term-Contract (FTC) and Contract-To-Hire (C2H). In this role, you will be integral to safeguarding our clients' network infrastructures, ensuring they meet the highest security standards.

Qualifications and Skills

• Expertise in network security, focusing on protecting infrastructure and responding to threats efficiently (Mandatory skill).
• In-depth knowledge of DDoS mitigation strategies and tools to handle potential threats effectively (Mandatory skill).
• Experience in network detection response to identify and respond to security incidents promptly (Mandatory skill).
• Proficient with firewall analyzers for examining firewall setups, logs, and configurations to ensure optimal security settings.
• Knowledgeable in implementing internet filtering for cloud assets to prevent unauthorized access to resources.
• Capable of conducting full packet capture to monitor network traffic and analyze the data for security breaches.
• Hands-on experience with Cloudflare to enhance the security and performance of external-facing resources.
• Familiarity with AlgoSec to manage network security policies and ensure compliance across systems.
• Experience with Trellix Packet Capture to effectively analyze and monitor data traffic.
• Proficient in using Forcepoint for comprehensive internet filtering and data protection solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and enforcement of network security procedures and standards within client environments.
• Analyze security risks and develop comprehensive mitigation processes to protect sensitive information.
• Collaborate with IT teams to design robust network security architecture tailored to client needs.
• Monitor security alerts and handle incidents promptly to minimize potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Regularly audit and assess existing security measures to recommend improvements as needed.
• Guide clients in the adoption and integration of new network security technologies and practices.
• Prepare and present detailed security reports to stakeholders and management, outlining threats, mitigations, and outcomes.
• Conduct training and awareness sessions for clients on best practices and emerging trends in network security.
