Job Summary
As the Lead Android Developer, you will oversee the technical design and development of Android applications while leading a team of talented developers. You will be responsible for making key architectural decisions, ensuring code quality, and mentoring the team. This role will involve collaborating with various teams to align technical development with business goals and ensuring the successful delivery of cutting-edge mobile solutions.
Key Responsibilities
As the Lead Android Developer, you will oversee the technical design and development of Android applications while leading a team of talented developers. You will be responsible for making key architectural decisions, ensuring code quality, and mentoring the team. This role will involve collaborating with various teams to align technical development with business goals and ensuring the successful delivery of cutting-edge mobile solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and development of Android applications from concept to launch.
- Collaborate with Product, UI/UX, QA, and backend teams to deliver high-performance mobile experiences.
- Guide the team in best practices for Android development, testing, and performance optimization.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and project guidelines.
- Mentor and support junior and mid-level Android developers.
- Drive innovation and stay updated with the latest Android trends, tools, and frameworks.
- Ensure apps are secure, scalable, and meet performance benchmarks.
- Help plan and prioritize the mobile development roadmap and release cycles.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Android development, with 12 years in a leadership or mentoring
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
- Deep understanding of Android SDK, architecture components (Jetpack), and modern app
- Experience with dependency injection (e.g., Dagger/Hilt), reactive programming
- Familiarity with Android development tools such as Android Studio, Gradle, and Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
