Responsibilities
Lead Software Engineer - 7-10yrs Oracle HCM Technical (Data Migration)
Should have 7 to 10 years of experience in Oracle HCM data migration with at least 2 end to end implementation expertise. Techno functional professional who understands solutions, industry best practices, well coordination with the clients, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment and technology to meet customer needs. Should act as the Techno functional consultant on Oracle Integration projects. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and configures detailed solutions for complex projects.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- In-depth working experience on Oracle HCM data migration process, especially moving data from legacy systems (like Oracle PeopleSoft) to Oracle Fusion HCM for Oracle HCM modules like Core HR, Absences, and OTL modules.
- Expected to have good articulation and presentation skills in both verbal and written
- The candidate must have Techno Functional expertise on the below Oracle HCM technologies
- Design, develop, and execute complex data migration scripts using Oracle's HCM Data Loader (HDL) and HCM Spreadsheet Data Loader (HSDL)
- Develop, implement, and optimize data migration strategies, scripts, and procedures, ensuring best practices and compliance with company and industry standards
- Coordinate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes, and troubleshoot issues to maintain data integrity and accuracy.
- Collaborate closely with functional and technical teams to define migration requirements and deliver solutions aligned with project goals
- Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex data conversion and integration issues during mock conversions and system cutovers
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently manage and resolve technical challenges
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including data mapping specifications and conversion programs
- Troubleshooting & Support : Raising SR, Coordination with Oracle on issue resolution, Assist in the identification and resolution of complex issues/problems on migration
- Good to have skills:
- Understanding Oracle HCM modules is added advantage
- Experience on HCM Extracts and BI Reports
- Agile Methodology of working, Jira Board
- Should have completed at least 2 projects on the above mentioned mandatory skills and should be an independent contributor
- The candidate should have been in client facing roles and interacted with customers in requirement gathering workshops.
- Should have strong written and verbal communication skills, personal drive, flexibility, team player, problem solving, influencing and negotiating skills and organizational awareness and sensitivity, engagement delivery, continuous improvement and knowledge sharing and client management. Interact with client frequently around specific work efforts/deliverables
- Willing to work in shifts, if required in future.
